JRA: Enrichments: Pat Jardin

Hi Parents!
I am Pat Jardin, Library Consultant/Librarian and have been associated with JRA for 17 years having taught Library Skills many years ago. I have a Master of Library Science and a MA in Management. I have taught library skills at JRA and grammar school through college level. I have been a Library Director for the USAF, USA, USN and directly responsible for building libraries on navy ships, in marine prisons, public and private schools and church organizations. For over 35 years I have been a storyteller and love reading to the wee ones and my darling 10 year old granddaughter Taylor who with her sister Meagan (20yrs old) live in Arkansas.
My greatest accomplishments in life have been my three children. Rusty lives with his wife Marilyn in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, Cheryl who works for the USAF lives in Colorado Springs, Co and Jo-Lynn, husband Mark and my two granddaughters live in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
I make sure that the Building 1 & 2 teachers have the books to teach their scheduled topics. I also fulfill Grades 1- 8 special requests for both library books and videos. An inventory of all library books is maintained and processing of all books is done by me. Periodical weeding and repairs are accomplished on an as needed basis.
Traveling and reading are my passions having backpacked to over 100 countries, most recently Dubai. The books that I love range from Tikki, Tikki, Tembo to War and Peace and John Adams.
My office is in the staff house.
