Community

Julie Rohr Academy feels the need to give to the community in every possible way.  JRA has found that one of the special ways we can be helpful is to provide senior citizens with entertainment and social interaction with our students.  We accomplish this in many ways.  Students from various classes perform at retirement centers, assisted living facilities, mobile home parks, and nursing homes.  We also make cards and presents for residents through an "Adopt a Grandparent" program and visit with residents when we perform. 

 We have also worked at and performed for homeless shelters.  These are rewarding experiences for our students.
